In today's #TMBChristmas activity we're working on subitizing with our addition tree. This activity can easily be used all year by changing the colors of the poms.
SUPPLIES
(All of our supplies came from the dollar store)- Pom Pom's in 2 different colors
- 2 Dice
- 3 compartment serving tray
How we play:
- Sort the red and green poms (aka ornaments) into a 3 compartment serving tray.
- Roll 2 dice - one for the red poms, one for the green - then count out the correct number of poms for each dice to decorate the foam tree.
- Finally, count all of the poms to get your total. Clear the board and start over.
Easy setup and even easier cleanup.
